These vitamins are for those who do not need iron, at any age. So these are not just for seniors. Adult men and anyone over the age of 50 do not need iron. Iron is for children and for menstruating women. But Centrum Silver contains tons of vitamins and minerals other than iron. I recommend Centrum Silver for adult men and post menopausal women or women with hysterectomies, at any age, because these people should not be ingesting iron. That's not the special woman or man formulation now. I don't know about that.
